Youth Outreach Services and Programs

Special events and out-trips go on all year long. Dropping into a Youth Centre doesn't cost anything, and we fundraise to help keep costs down for activities and fun, low cost out trips - teens provide the destination/trip ideas, and the Youth Workers make the arrangements. Subsidized trips are available to those with little or no funds.

Come down to our teen drop-in; pre-teen drop-in; the Sk8 park; drop-in gym, girls' group.

During the school year, come and join the 500 Grade 6 and 7's that come to the pre-teen dances. Watch for information on the next dance or let us know about your own ideas!

Youth Services also offer: one-to-one support; classroom presentations; anger management..

Youth Centres

Qualified, experienced Youth Workers supervise the Youth Centres. Youth Centres are drug, alcohol and violence free places for youth 13-18 years. Some Youth Centres also have Grades 6 and 7 only nights - check them out!

We offer movies, PS2, basketball, pool, foosball, games, food and more! Youth Centres are safe places - a relaxed environment where youth can hang out, join in planned activities, talk to a Youth Worker or meet friends. .

Come to the very popular Drop-in for Grade 6 & 7's only. Play pool, foosball, Nintendo, basketball, soccer or spontaneous games initiated by the Pre-teens themselves. Chocolate bars and other goodies at the concession.

Bring your CD's so that you can hear the music you like!
