Parkgate Community Centre offers a variety fitness-0413of yoga classes for all ages and abilities. Our yoga classes are registered programs, but some do allow for drop-ins if space permits. Ageless Yoga 50yrs&up
An all-levels hatha style yoga class for active people 50 years and over.

Chair Yoga with Randi
IMG_0382Enjoy the same benefits you receive from traditional yoga but in the comfort of a chair. Breathing and relaxation techniques as well as gentle stretching. Price reduction for Seniors’ Centre membership holders.

Gentle Hatha
This class is designed for anyone who wants to relax muscles and relieve stiffness. Program participants will build strength, flexibility and balance in a relaxing welcoming environment.

Hatha Yoga
Balance the mind and body through a combination of classical postures and breathing techniques. Improve balance and flexibility while clearing and relaxing the mind.

Real Men Do Yoga
A Hatha yoga class designed specifically for men to increase range of movement and flexibility, strengthen core muscles and develop a relaxed physicality. A cross-training class for those looking to enhance their physical fitness.

Restorative Yoga
Achieve deep relaxation with the aid of props chairyoga300px-2779and a sequence of specially designed postures which are held for 5 minutes with complete support allowing muscles to relax into place. This class is perfect for newcomers, and all levels are welcome.

Yoga: Mind & Body – All Levels
Cultivate a strong body, a peaceful mind, and an awakened heart in this popular community class. Moving dynamically with breath through flowing yoga postures and core body exercises, you will build whole body strength, unwind tight joints, and restore physical, mental and emotional balance. Beginners welcomed but may be challenged. Please bring your own mat. Taught by Certified Pilates Teacher, Registered Yoga Teacher, a Masters Level Counsellor, and Certified Professional Life Coach (Heather McCullough, www.heathermccullough.ca)

Core Floetry – All Levels for Women
A weekly class retreat for women seeking to engage in a mindful experience of core well-being. Classes will include pilates & core yoga flows for opening and strengthening the physical centre, guided meditations & journalling practices for breathing and reflection space, and inspiring lessons celebrating the female body and the feminine life force. What is the Refund Policy?

You’ll receive a full refund if you request to withdraw from a program or daycamp more than five days before the scheduled start date.

You’ll be refunded for the program fee less the charge for one class if you request to withdraw anytime between five days before the program starts and the start of the second class. PLEASE NOTE: No refunds or credits can be issued after the second class of a program starts. Fees for one-day programs and weekend workshops are non-refundable when withdrawn less than 5 day prior to start of class.
