Early Years Sports

Enjoy the game of floor-hockey in a fun and playful atmosphere in Floor Hockey Parent Participation 2-3yrs or have a fun intro to bike riding on a non-pedal bike in Run-Bike Parent & Tot 2-4yrs. Sportball Parent Participation 2-3yrs is an introduction to skills needed in the soccer fields. For those ready to join a sport “on-my-own”, we also have Soccer for 2-3yrs.

School Age Sports

Try our Junior 7-10yrs or Senior 11-16yrs Badminton Lessons. You will learn the basic skills of badminton in a fun and social environment. Build eye-hand coordination, make friends and play on teams. See also our family drop-in times below.

Floorball is a fun and fast indoors teamsport. Parkgate offers Floorball for ages 6-9yrs and 9-12yrs.

Can’t decide? Sport Fanatics for ages 5-8yrs doesn’t stick to only one sport! Play floor hockey, soccer, dodge ball or all of the above.

In Indoor soccer 5-7yrs and 8-12yrs you learn all the basics of ball handling, shooting and passing while getting also plenty of game time.

Adult Sports

We offer Badminton Lessons 16yrs+. Improve your skills, get tips and drills that will help improve consistency.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I register for a program?

Online: Register online with a Visa or Mastercard, and use your family Playcard account number and PIN to log into the site. These numbers can be found at the end of any receipt you have received from us. If you do not have this information, the Parkgate front desk staff will be happy to provide it to you.

By phone: to register by phone, you will need a credit card, and your family Playcard account number and PIN to register.

  • Call Customer Call Centre at 604-987-7529, Monday to Friday from 8:30am-6:30pm, to register by speaking with a customer service representative.
  • Call 604-983-6350 to register at Parkgate Community Centre at the front desk.

In-person: Visit the Parkgate Community Centre during office hours for in-person registration:

Monday to Friday               6:15am – 9:15pm
Saturday and Sunday        8:15am – 5:15pm

You may also register in-person at any North Vancouver Community recCentre facility.

What is the Refund Policy?

You’ll receive a full refund if you request to withdraw from a program or daycamp more than five days before the scheduled start date.

You’ll be refunded for the program fee less the charge for one class if you request to withdraw anytime between five days before the program starts and the start of the second class. PLEASE NOTE: No refunds or credits can be issued after the second class of a program starts. Fees for one-day programs and weekend workshops are non-refundable when withdrawn less than 5 day prior to start of class.
