Day Camps
A great experience for children ages 5 -12!
We offer fun-filled full and half-day camps on school closure days such as Pro-D days and winter, spring, and summer vacations. Our Day Camps are open to all children, regardless of whether they are enrolled in our School Age Care Program.
School holidays are all about being active and engaged while also spending as much time as possible in the beautiful outdoors and at local city attractions like Science World, the Vancouver Aquarium, Grouse Mountain, Lynn Valley Ecology Centre, and many more. When we are not out exploring, our programs are held in our safe, fully licensed facilities. We offer a large variety of activities and theme days, all guided by our team of experienced and energetic leaders.
2024 Summer Day Camps
All Parkgate Society Summer Day Camps will be available for viewing on Wednesday, April 24th, at noon via this link.
- Priority registration for families already enrolled in Parkgate Society Child Care begins on Friday, April 26, at 9:00AM and closes on Friday, May 3rd, at 11:30AM.
- Registration for the general public begins on May 23 at 7:00AM.
- If you are not one of our regular child care families and you do sign up during priority registration, your name will be removed from the registration list, and you will be emailed asking to re-enroll on May 23.
*** Please note – patrons are no longer able to create their own accounts online. We highly recommend that you double-check your accounts ahead of time so as not to be disappointed when registration for camps open. The first step would be to try logging in online; the second step would be to call or come in to a centre to ask a customer service representative to check all possible phone numbers associated with the account. If those are not coming up with an account, the third step is creating a new account by submitting the online form found here: Create a New Account | North Vancouver Recreation and Culture Commission (nvrc.ca).
