Coming Soon in May…. YMCA’s Teen Mindfulness Program
Parkgate Society’s Youth Services Team is running a second round of the YMCA’s Teen Mindfulness Group! During these times, it’s more important than ever for young people to find ways to deal with stress and anxiety and this program is full of some very helpful tools.
What is it exactly? YMCA Teen Mindfulness is a six week program that teaches skills and provides tools to youth with mild to moderate levels of anxiety.
When is it? Once a week for six weeks. 4:30-6:00pm. The exact date is still to be confirmed but it will be sometime in early May – so SOON!
Who can join? Youth ages 13-17. And since, we’re going virtual, this program is open to any youth in British Columbia!
Where? On Zoom! All you need is a good wifi connection and a private room.
How much? It’s FREE!
